Emma Lett is a physiotherapist working in an inpatient rehabilitation ward and undertaking postgraduate study. She is interested in how the physical environment influences the rehabilitation process and patient experience. Emma will present a summary of the evidence motivating her plan for a quality improvement initiative on her ward.
Annette Rotherham is a researcher and advanced practice clinician working in the OPMH service at Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha/Canterbury. Her specialist areas include aphasia andmental health, as well as progressive neurological conditions and their impact on language and cognition. Communication partner training and the effect of aphasia on conversational success have been the focus of her PhD research, which led to the development of a new outcome measure for couple conversations in aphasia.
