We plan to run these online 'Rehab Conversations' a number of times throughout the year - to gather, to connect, to share ideas, and to support each other in our learning and practice.
Our first online event will feature two rehabilitation clinicians talking about their experiences of quality improvement, and their learnings along the way.
Steph works as Clinical Lead – Rehabilitation & Allied Health Consultant – Rehabilitation (physiotherapist) at Te Whatu Ora – Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley. She will talk about a project aimed at embedding patient centred goal-setting into rehabilitation stroke services.
Maree is an Advanced Clinician Physiotherapist at the Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit, Te Whatu Ora - Counties Manakau. Maree will talk about work aimed at improving skills and expertise for the management of the upper limb in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) in the community.
However, to support equitable access for all, we have developed the following payment model. The cost for attending is $20, but at the point of registration we are asking that you pay what you can from the list of options. You may not be able to afford $20 amount, or you may be able to afford more – thereby, paying it forward. We appreciate people paying what they can, to support access for all.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Anne Hawker via admin@rehabilitation.org.nz prior to the event.
