Research
Prior to our NRRINZ/NZRA Rehabilitation Conference held in Rotorua in February 2007, there was a two-day ‘think-tank’ where the invited speakers and a number of other rehabilitation authors and researchers met to present, discuss and debate new ideas on the topic of ‘person-centred rehabilitation’. The intent of the exercise was not to cover old ground regarding ‘person-centred rehabilitation’, but instead to boldly push new boundaries that both challenged and explored the concept. The product of this work has now been published as a collection of papers in a Special Edition of Disability & Rehabilitation – the official journal of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. Many thanks must go out to Professor Kath McPherson who engineered this workshop and Dr Richard Siegert who organised and co-edited the Special Edition with her. Also featured in this Special Edition is a complete of list of the abstracts for posters and presentations from our NRRINZ/NZRA Rehabilitation Conference 2007 (pages 1634-1663 of the Special Edition). Below is a list of the papers published in this Special Edition in the order they appear.
