Claire works full time for the Canterbury District Health Board and the New Zealand Spinal Trust. Her work involves a mixture of design and research. She has recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma of Rehabilitation through Otago University and is looking to pursue further study. After sustaining a spinal cord injury at age 17, Claire continued on to complete a Degree of Design with Honours from Massey University. She has become an active voice within the disability sector and is keen to see people with disabilities taking a more active role in the rehabilitation process.
